Chong Li Law is pleased to welcome Ms. Xu Mengting, who will further enhance Chong Li Law's capabilities in foreign direct investment (FDI), overseas investment, and data compliance.

加入崇立之前，徐律师曾在中国香港、美国加州从事法律工作，专注于跨境投资、并购、合规监管、隐私法及数据保护。

Prior to joining Chong Li Law, Ms. Xu worked in the legal and regulatory sectors in Hong Kong and California. She specializes in cross-border investment, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, privacy and data protection.

徐律师曾在一家知名国际律所的香港办公室工作,负责为跨国公司提供中国隐私相关及数据跨境传输等法律服务；监测、研究欧盟《通用数据保护条例》（GDPR）、《电子隐私指令》以及欧盟其他数据保护指令，并分析其对跨国公司运营的影响。

While working for a leading international law firm in its Hong Kong office, Ms. Xu provided legal services related to Chinese privacy law, and cross-border data transfer for international companies. She was also responsible for monitoring, researching the GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, and other EU data protection directives, as well as analyzing their impact on international companies’ operations.

徐律师先后毕业于加州大学伯克利分校(法律硕士)、香港大学（法律硕士）以及中国海洋大学（法律学士）。徐律师是美国加州持牌律师并曾在加州执业。她也获得欧洲隐私保护专家及美国隐私保护专家认证。徐律师中英双语都很流利。

Ms. Xu graduated from the University of California, Berkeley (LL.M.), the University of Hong Kong (LL.M.), and Ocean University of China (LL.B.). She is licensed as a California attorney and practiced law in California. She is also certified as CIPP/E and CIPP/US. Ms. Xu is fluent in Chinese and English.
