Ms. Jiahui Mai specializes in information disclosure compliance, securities compliance and investigations, and domestic capital markets. With over a decade of professional experience, she is among the earliest practitioners in China dedicated to providing information disclosure advisory services to listed companies. She has advised more than 50 listed companies across the Greater Bay Area and Central China, covering industries such as manufacturing, building materials, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductors.
Ms. Mai has extensive experience in information disclosure compliance and corporate governance optimization, and has participated in numerous regulatory enforcement and disciplinary defense projects involving the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and stock exchanges. Her expertise spans financial auditing, internal controls, IPOs, and financial due diligence, equipping her with the practical skills needed to navigate complex capital market scenarios.
Information Disclosure Compliance
Ms. Mai has provided comprehensive disclosure compliance advisory services to over 50 A-share listed companies, offering end-to-end solutions for day-to-day disclosure and regulatory operations. Her services include preliminary reviews of periodic and ad hoc reports, regulatory interpretation and precedent analysis, and quality assurance for disclosure documents. She also advises on regulatory responses and has helped many clients maintain “A” ratings in stock exchange disclosure assessments for consecutive years. Her representative clients include Jianlang Hardware (002791), Xiangshan Co., Ltd. (002870), Cedar Development (002485), Er-Kang Pharmaceutical (300267), and Starway Industrial (300464), among others.
Securities Compliance and Investigations
Ms. Mai has led or participated in numerous securities compliance projects, including regulatory defense in CSRC administrative penalty proceedings and stock exchange disciplinary actions. She has provided corporate governance enhancement services to nearly 10 listed companies, conducting in-depth reviews of their disclosure practices, internal governance, and regulatory compliance. She has also successfully represented clients in disciplinary hearings, assisting in the analysis of alleged violations, evidence collection, preparation of defense materials, and issuance of formal defense opinions. Several clients’ penalties were mitigated from public censure to lesser reprimands.
Domestic Capital Markets
In the domestic capital markets space, Ms. Mai has participated in a variety of audit and assurance projects, including audits for listed and public companies, restructuring and IPO audit filings, NEEQ listings, M&A-specific audits, internal control attestations, financial due diligence, and other specialized assurance services. These include audits of fund-raising activities, reviews of related party fund usage, non-recurring profit and loss verification, and capital verification.
Before joining Chong Li, Ms. Mai served as Associate Director at a leading domestic compliance advisory firm, and as Senior Project Manager at the Shenzhen branch of Dahua Certified Public Accountants LLP.
